Since her arrival in Odessa in 2003, Gloria Apolinario’s professional career and charitable work exemplify her unwavering commitment to community service.

Gloria’s professional journey began with her involvement in the construction of a U.S. embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. Her experiences also include owning an insurance agency in Sacramento, venturing into the radio industry in Dallas and Amarillo, and serving as Vice President at Clear Channel Radio in Odessa. From 2006 to 2013, she led Media Concepts advertising agency, further showcasing her versatility and expertise in various fields.

However, Gloria’s deep-rooted dedication to public service remains the cornerstone of her life. She has served as State Rep. Tryon Lewis’ district director and as Congressman Mike Conaway’s regional director, where she displayed her resourcefulness and offered hope and assistance to those in need. Sheriff Griffis affectionately refers to her as “Bulldog” due to her tenacity and ability to effectively accomplish tasks, while her friends lovingly call her “Amazing Grace.”

Gloria’s commitment to community service can be traced back to her upbringing in a large family, where she learned the values of hard work and education from an early age. She pursued her education at Far Eastern University, beginning at the young age of four and graduating by the age of eighteen with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Beyond her professional achievements, Gloria actively volunteers her time and expertise. She serves on various boards, including the Red Cross, Catholic Charities, and the Salvation Army, where she directly assists those in need. Through her hands-on participation, she exemplifies humility and compassion.

Gloria’s dedication to embracing her Filipino heritage remains unwavering. She advocates for family care and cultural values, and actively supports the initiatives of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. in the Philippines. These connections to her roots fuel her drive to make a positive impact in both her local community and her home country.
